(November 23): added a new map (United States of Advertising)

(August 24): since august 1'st we've received 54,521 requests for pages from 466 unique visitors. for an early beta-version this is pretty decent - thanks to all the beta-testers for their support.
 
(August 16): the first version is going well. we are fixing numerous bugs, re-doing the point system, and preparing the game for play with multiple maps.
 
(August 2): the first playable version (0.1b) is now ready! if you want to join our mailing list (if you are beta testing please do) send a blank message to beta@revolutiongame.com.

  • When any game starts the country placement starts with a random player (used to be player 1)
  • When a team game starts it gives countries in the play order

  • New game options: Change the sides on dice, bonus divisor, min daily bonus, fortify through teammates

  • You can now play your team-mates turn in a sequential team game if he is absent for more than 3 days

  • There is now a splash screen when you login that dynamically preloads all the images in your browsers cache (you can skip the preload in your player preferences)

  • An automated reset function has been created - as a result the game has now been reset!

  • The game has been reset - congrats to Tesseractive who gets the first General Star
  • Reset = all games (active, not started, and archived) have been deleted and everyone is back to 0 points
  • We deleted alot of user accounts (ones that haven't logged-in for a while or ones that looks like they were made by accident)
  • General Stars appear on the player info screen and the top 10
  • Players can not have less than 0 points
  • Changed the points awarded for all situations of the game

  • You can now click on a users name (anywhere it appears) and pull up a detailed window about their account (including how many times you've killed them)

  • Fixed exploit where you could move more armies than allowed after winning a battle
  • Dead people now appear as D E A D on the userlist inside a game
  • Stopped the "We adjusted your attack force" message from appearing multiple times

  • You can now remove yourself from a game you have joined

  • Deleted the pull-out bar on the game screen in favour of a list at the bottom of the map
  • You can now view how many cards another player has, when he played last, and how many times he's played in that game (since this fix)
  • If you are absent from a non-sequential game for more than a day you now get your daily quota times the number of days you were absent
  • Creator now gets to play first in a sequential game
  • You might have noticed the number of armies you got for a set seemed random - it was. Problem solved
  • Made it clear on the map that Eastern US and Central America are connected
